2016 Recap: We celebrated a DECADE OF DIFFERENCE and honored a legacy that has changed thousands of lives. The 10th Annual A Celebration of Heroes, Heart and Hope Gala was record breaking and the most successful yet. New Yorkers, helped thousands of wounded veterans, children and adults get back into the game of life by raising $2.9 million (and still counting) to support challenged athletes worldwide.
Over 1,000 supporters gathered at the beautiful Waldorf Astoria to celebrate a DECADE OF DIFFERENCE. The Today Show’s Willie Geist and Dylan Dreyer were the evening’s co-hosts, celebrating the trailblazers who’ve made a difference for a community. The evening featured incredible moments, including on stage performances by WCMX legend Christiaan “Otter” Bailey and his mentee Kumaka Jensen – a perfect reflection of the decade of mentorship this event has had CAF athlete lives.
Scott L. Stackman has created a legacy. That legacy was honored June 8th. The generosity of our amazing sponsors, donors, guests, and table captains made the difference. Thank you to everyone who came to support.
