Competitor Endurance Sports Awards - CAF Silent Auction
Location: Sea World San Diego
Details: Tickets to the event are $125 per person, or $1,000 per table. Items up for auction include a custom made Griffen frame & fork, a 7-night Admiral's Package at the Bitter End Yacht Club, a Wells Fargo Padres Suite with 18 tickets to the Toyota Terrace at one home game and many more items.

Freedom Run Across America
Location: Starts at the California Marine Corp Recruit Depot in San Diego and finishes at the Marine Corp Memorial in Washington, D.C.
Details: Led by original 1978 Ironman Tom Knoll (now 75) and his son, Warren, 44, who will both run 3,300 miles across the U.S. They encourage others to join them along the way for however long or short you desire.
