Join the Challenged Athletes Foundation for a coveted guaranteed entry to the 2016 New York City Triathlon. Registration is open!

Everyone deserves to feel the power of crossing a finish line. By participating in a CAF charity slot, you help fund the adaptive equipment, training and mentoring needed to get challenged athletes in the game - and to the finish line. Money raised will help the Challenged Athletes Foundation® (CAF) provide individuals with physical challenges with the tools necessary to find success in sports — and in life.

Join challenged athletes, able-bodied athletes, celebrities and pros they brave the waters of the mighty Hudson River before biking along Manhattan's West Side highway. Finally, athletes put on their running shoes for a run through New York's famed Central Park in the final stage of this iconic race.

Fundraising Rules and Regulations

Registrants agree to raise or contribute a total of $2,000 by June 15, 2016 to participate in the 2016 New York City Triathlon as a part of Team CAF.

If the athlete is not able to compete, withdrawal requests must be received in writing via e-mail to jennifer@challengedathletes.org. Without exception, all requests must be received on or before June 15, 2016 to be released out of $2,000 fundraising commitment. All money raised up to that point is non-refundable. If an athlete is injured during training after June 15, 2016, he or she is still responsible for raising or providing the $2,000 minimum, regardless if able to compete. Additionally, if any portion of race and/or the entire event is canceled for any reason beyond the control of the Challenged Athletes Foundation, the athlete is still required to raise $2,000 by June 15, 2016.
