Get Involved

The Northeast Chapter has many opportunities for you to get involved.

Fundraise
Fundraising for the CAF is a fulfilling and rewarding experience!  Challenged Athletes Foundation® (CAF) puts on unique, first-class fundraising events as ways to get involved and make a difference. CAF events are challenging and rewarding, but most importantly allow people to see first-hand how they are changing the lives of challenged athletes.
Join us today for a CAF signature or partner event, participate in Race for a Reason or in a number of additional events that benefit CAF. Visit the calendar of events for a
full list.

Become a Corporate Sponsor/Partner
Sponsoring an event, such as the Heroes, Heart and Hope Gala, a program or by becoming a CAF Corporate Partner, is a great way for an organization to launch, or enhance, its commitment to CAF.  Challenged Athletes Foundation® (CAF) is very grateful for the support of its partners and sponsors. These important relationships have enabled CAF to reach hundreds of thousands of people in an effort to raise awareness about what is possible, and funds for individuals with physical challenged to find success in sports — and in life.
Being a corporate partner or sponsor of CAF is a unique opportunity to demonstrate your company's values and commitment to healthy and active lifestyles, regardless of the challenges people face.

Sponsor a Challenged Athlete
Did you know that a custom-made and fitted Ossur Cheetah running foot can cost up to $30,000, none of which is paid by insurance?  By “Funding An Item”, you can directly support CAF’s Access for Athletes Grant Program, which provides grant funding to challenged athletes for prosthetics, training, coaching, race entry fees, and more.  To see all the ways you can Sponsor an Athlete, click

Volunteer
The Northeast Chapter is excited to offer fun and rewarding volunteer opportunities throughout the year that will not only help challenged athletes but give you a feeling of satisfaction too.  You could work one-on-one with a challenged athlete at an upcoming clinic (imagine helping an athlete learn how to run for the first time on a new CAF-funded running leg, or assisting an athlete who is learning to swim after a disability.  Want to help spread the word about CAF in the region?  Help out in the CAF Expo Booth at an upcoming race.  Want to experience the inspiring and fun “Heroes, Heart and Hope” Gala at the Waldorf=Astoria?  Join one of our planning committees.
