In the spirit of the season, the XMAS Coma benefits our mission to empower individuals with physical challenges through sports.

30/50/70 mile ride: Registration at 8:30AM; Ride at 9:00AM

Attendees will be part of the third annual Northern California CAF gala event. We’ll be pulling together a unique crowd from across sports, technology, business, and philanthropy to experience CAF and be moved by the power of sport. Learn about CAF’s impact in the region and meet extraordinary athletes who will change your perception of what’s possible.


2019 Celebration of Heart at SF Moma with the Well Known Strangers


  • In 26 years, CAF has raised over $100 million and funded over 26,000 grants to athletes with physical challenges of all ages and abilities, in all 50 states and over 42 countries.
  • 14% of grants in NorCal and 28% globally funded to youth athletes. We strive to reach challenged athletes at their youngest ages possible to ensure a full active life.
  • Last year, 103 different sports were supported like wheelchair rugby, blind surfing, equestrian, sled hockey, adaptive crossfit and many, many more that empower an active lifestyle.
  • Inclusion + accessibility are top initiatives supported through sports, technology, innovation and lifestyle partners. We applaud our partners who share our
    desire to transform lives through sport.

Bayshore Triathlon @ Alamitos Bay
Mar 7 @ 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

Race the Bayshore Triathlon in support of our mission! All registration proceeds are direct donations to CAF. The sprint triathlon is ideal for newcomers to triathlon. Calm, shallow and easy to swim bay water swim. Flat bike ride down on a safe beach path. Flat and well supported run along the ocean shores of Long Beach.

Race the IRONMAN 70.3 Oceanside in support of CAF’s Operation Rebound program! Through a charity entry as part of Team Operation Rebound, you will be empowering injured veterans to heal through sports. You compete. Our injured troops win.
