The 2016 YMCA San Diego Tour de Cove

Location: La Jolla, CA


The YMCA San Diego Tour de Cove returns to beautiful La Jolla Cove on Sunday, October 23, 2016. Join CAF for a fun and sweat-drenching 4.5 hour stationary cycling marathon with 100 riders and over 50 challenged athletes. There will be over 100 stationary bikes on the lawn overlooking the Pacific Ocean at the center of the Aspen Medical Products San Diego Triathlon Challenge. Participate in the four and a half hour ride as an individual or share a bike as part of a 3-person relay team.

Participation Types

All participants receive great perks including a goodie bag with a custom YMCA San Diego Tour de Cove cycling jersey, event t-shirt, CAF sweatshirt, visor or hat, water bottle and more.

  • Yellow Jersey Riders – Ride for four and a half hours and fundraise a minimum of $500.
  • Polka Dot Jersey Relay Team – Ride as part of a 3 person relay and share a bike for four and a half hours. Each relay team member will select a different 90-minute cycling session. Each team member must fundraise a minimum of $300 each for a combined $900/team.
  • Champion Challenge: Yellow Jersey and Polka Dot Jersey team riders can strive to be a Champion Rider by fundraising $2,000 or more. Receive extra perks including a custom CAF cycling kit, valet parking, access to SDTC VIP tent and massage, special refreshments and a reserved spot in the front row of TDC with priority access to a Krankcycle®.
