Deni & Jeff Jacobs Challenged Athletes Center

The Deni & Jeff Jacobs Challenged Athletes Center opened its doors in 2010. This contemporary national headquarters, education center and adaptive training facility will celebrate the challenged athlete for years to come. The highlights of our new home include:

• The RC Baker Foundation CAF Educational Center, a place where people can tour, interact and learn that it takes more than a strong will to overcome physical limitations to participate in sports.
• Half basketball court that will host wheelchair basketball, sit volleyball, spin, mobility and conditioning clinics onsite for the first time in the organization's history.
• Matrix Training Facility adaptive sports gym to teach challenged athletes how to correctly use equipment found in their neighborhood gyms.
• State of the art audio visual system graciously donated by Sony, Electronics and Meyer Sound Systems that will project the message of hope and the faces of CAF — athlete's stories triumph over adversity.

Thanks to the generosity of Deni and Jeff Jacobs and to all of those who had participated in the first three years of our Million Dollar Challenge, we have now realized our dream to build a better future for challenged athletes.

Deni and I are so pleased to offer our support to help create this new challenged athletes center," said Jeff Jacobs, CAF board member and long-time CAF supporter through the Qualcomm Million Dollar Challenge. "We know that by providing this unique facility where CAF can carry out its mission, we will together improve the community and the lives of the athletes served by the organization."
