2024 CAF Idaho Winter Sports Weekend in Boise, Idaho | Thursday, March 7th – Saturday, March 9th

 

Join CAF Idaho for an a three-day celebration of snow and ice from Thursday, March 7th, to Saturday, March 9th! On Thursday, athletes will kick off the event with alpine ski lessons at Bogus Basin in two sessions from 10 am-12:30 pm and 1:30 pm-4 pm, alongside sled hockey at Idaho IceWorld from 9 am to 12 pm. Friday continues the excitement with more alpine ski lessons at Bogus Basin from 10 am-12:30 pm and 1:30 pm-4 pm, with sled hockey at Idaho IceWorld from 11 am-3 pm. Saturday wraps up the celebration with Nordic skiing at Bogus Basin, with session times to be from 9:30 am-11:30 am and 1 pm-2:30 pm. Session assignments will be announced closer to the date of the event. No experience is necessary to participate.

Travel funding is no longer available for out-of-state residents, but travel funding is still available for Idaho residents traveling from outside of the Treasure Valley. Please contact April Rohr at [email protected] for more information.

CAF x WBA Wheelchair Basketball Clinic | Saturday, March 9th

 

Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) is partnering with the Warriors Basketball Academy (WBA) and BORP Adaptive Sports and Recreation to host a wheelchair basketball clinic.

This clinic is open to beginner and intermediate wheelchair basketball players, ages 5 and older. We ask that if you currently own or are loaning a wheelchair basketball chair, that you please bring it with you to the clinic. If you do not have your own equipment, we will have several basketball chairs available and will do our best to provide you with a chair to use for the clinic, pending availability.  

If you are an advanced wheelchair basketball player, we encourage you to reach out Eva (contact below) about volunteering. 

Please note that each participant may only bring up to two guests with them into the Warriors Basketball Facility for this clinic.

CAF Northeast Sled Hockey Clinic powered by Devils Youth Foundation | Saturday, March 23rd

 

Join Challenged Athletes Foundation for a fun day on the ice during our sled hockey clinic powered by the Devils Youth Foundation. If you do not have your own sled, we will have some for you to borrow for the day in varying sizes. No previous experience is necessary. This clinic is open to any athlete with a permanent physical disability ages 5-21

CAF NorCal Adaptive Golf Coaching Clinic | Sunday, May 19th

 

Join CAF for an adaptive golf coaching clinic! Please note, this clinic is for golf coaches and instructors, not golfers themselves. The purpose is to teach and inform local PGA pros and golf instructors on proper methods and approaches to coaching individuals with a physical disability.

CAF x University of Arizona Multi-Sport Camp | Friday, June 14th – Sunday, June 16th

 

Join CAF and the University of Arizona for our second annual adaptive multisport camp. Participants will stay in the dorms at the University of Arizona, and receive college-level coaching and mentorship from D-1 student-athletes. All meals, room, and board will be provided by CAF and the University of Arizona.

Camp is limited to middle and high school students ages 12-17 in the Western United States and Mexico. A limited number of travel assistance grants will be available upon request. Participants must be self-sufficient and independent for an overnight Camp.
