BORP Adaptive Sports and Recreation is excited to host our Fourth Annual Adaptive Sports Expo on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 10:00 AM–5:30 PM.
The Expo will take place across three Berkeley locations:
The central hub will be at James Kenney Community Center, 1720 Eighth Street, Berkeley, 10:00 AM-5:30 PM
The BORP Adaptive Cycling and Kayaking Center, 80 Bolivar Dr., Berkeley, 10:00 AM-1:00 PM
Berkeley Ironwork rock climbing gym, 800 Potter St., Berkeley, 12:00 PM-3:00 PM
This free community event is designed to make it easy for people of all ages and experience levels to try adaptive sports. Attendees can experience cycling, kayaking, wheelchair basketball, wheelchair rugby, goalball, power soccer, fitness, pickleball, rock climbing, para fencing, blind fencing, and more—all in one day. We’ll also have a family-friendly festival with games, food, arts and crafts, contests, and vendors.
This year, to celebrate BORP’s 50th Anniversary, we will also host a Community Expo After Party, 3:30-5:30 PM, free and open to everyone.
To ensure accessibility, BORP is providing transportation from BART to all venues.
