Lucy Coombs

Biography:

Lucy is a 17 year old above knee amputee from Somerville, Massachusetts.  She has attended 7 San Diego Triathlon Challenges, competing in the swim portion for 6 of them.  Despite several complications and surgeries from being born without an ACL, Lucy continues to improve herself as an athlete.  She most recently participated in CAF’s first youth paratriathlon camp.  Lucy continues to compete and also works hard to achieve her goal of becoming a physical therapist specializing in patients with limb differences.
