Everything You Need to Know: 2025 CAF-Idaho Field Day

CAF Staff

November 15, 2025

November is perhaps the only month where outdoor recreation in Idaho slows down. It’s too cold and rainy (or snowy) to hike or bike—but not quite snowy enough to ski. So instead, we’re heading indoors for CAF-Idaho Field(house) Day!

Join us on Saturday, November 15 at the Idaho Outdoor Fieldhouse in Boise for a full day of inclusive sport clinics, open recreation, and community connection. Whether you’re looking to try a new sport, meet local adaptive sports organizations, or spend the day being active with family and friends, there’s something for everyone.

About CAF-Idaho Field Day

CAF-Idaho Field Day is a celebration of movement, inclusion, and community. The day features 10+ different sport clinics, open gym and climbing opportunities, and informational booths from adaptive sports organizations, disability rights groups, and local partners who serve the disabled community in Idaho.

You can join as many clinics as you like—each session is first-come, first-served, and designed for all skill levels. Bring your family, bring your friends, and experience a full day of indoor fun.

Inclusive Clinics

Over the course of the day, participants can join a wide variety of 10+ sport clinics, each focused on skill development, fitness, and fun. Every clinic welcomes new and returning athletes alike.

  • Wheelchair basketball
  • Sitting volleyball
  • Swimming
  • Amputee soccer
  • Archery
  • Yoga
  • Climbing
  • Rugby
  • Goalball
  • Pickleball
  • Road cycling
  • Laser biathlon
  • Fitness

With so many options, you’ll have a chance to participate in multiple sports, meet local coaches, and find new ways to stay active this winter.

Opportunities Outside CAF

Throughout the day, you can explore booths and tables hosted by adaptive sports organizations from across Idaho. This is your chance to connect with programs and partners who provide year-round opportunities to stay engaged in sport and recreation.

Beyond Sport

In addition to sports programming, we’ve invited organizations that advocate for and provide services to the disability community in Idaho. Learn about new programs, community resources, and ways to stay active and connected beyond the fieldhouse.

Whether you’re new to adaptive sports or have “seen it all,” CAF-Idaho Field Day offers something for everyone.
