Welcome to CAF-Idaho

Mariah Wyckoff

CAF-Idaho supports athletes with permanent physical disabilities by increasing access to sport and recreation across the state of Idaho. Through adaptive sport programs, grants for equipment and training, and strong community partnerships, our goal is to make participation in sport possible and sustainable for athletes at every stage of their journey.

This page is designed to be your central hub for getting started. Whether you are brand new to CAF or looking to stay connected and involved, you’ll find links, resources, and next steps all in one place.

About the Challenged Athletes Foundation

The Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering athletes with physical disabilities through sport. CAF provides grants for adaptive sports equipment, training, competition expenses, and access to programs that help athletes build confidence, independence, and community through movement.

CAF-Idaho is part of this national network, offering local programs and support tailored to athletes in Idaho.

CAF-Idaho Programs and Opportunities

CAF-Idaho offers a range of adaptive sport opportunities throughout the year. Programs may vary by season, but often include:

  • Clinics and introductory experiences for adaptive sports
  • Community training opportunities
  • Events hosted in partnership with local organizations
  • Access to CAF grants to support equipment, training, and competition

Upcoming programs and events are shared regularly through our newsletter and social channels.

Our Partnership with the Idaho Outdoor Fieldhouse

CAF-Idaho partners closely with Idaho Outdoor Fieldhouse, a key hub for adaptive sport and recreation in the region.

The Idaho Outdoor Fieldhouse provides access to adaptive equipment, space for programming, and a welcoming environment for athletes to explore new sports and build skills.
