BASECAMP SKILLS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
BASECAMP SKILLS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
Basecamp Programs are designed for athletes of all levels to learn, develop, and refine skills across various sports. Each program will host a cohort of 8 – 10 individuals with physical disabilities, and will focus on a specific sport. This structure encourages a greater understanding of the sport and fosters deep personal connections. By the end of a Basecamp Program, you will be ready to participate on a local team, head out to Idaho’s great outdoors, and maybe even introduce another athlete to the sport.
In-Depth Programming
Each Basecamp will have a different schedule to maximize skill development. Rather than just focusing on sport-specific skills (which is also a major component!), each Basecamp will include instruction around things like equipment maintenance, access, fitness, health, nutrition, and other sport-specific topics
Expert Coaching Team:
Work with coaches who are not just experienced but passionate about helping athletes reach their full potential. They will be with you every step of the way, providing guidance, motivation, and personalized feedback to ensure your progress.
Small Group Training:
Work with a small cohort of individuals creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where you can interact closely with your coaches and fellow athletes.
State-of-the-Art-Facilities:
The Idaho Outdoor Fieldhouse is designed to be inclusive and offers the latest training equipment, ensuring that you have access to the resources you need for success.
