Isaac

Challenge: T3 Paraplegia

Sports: Surfing, Monoskiing, Basketball, Sled Hockey

Bio: Isaac is a 17 year-old high school student. He was on the volleyball, wrestling and cross-country team, and is now back on the cheer team for his senior year.

In October 2017, Isaac was in a horrific car accident that left him paralyzed from the chest down. Early in his recovery he was confident that he would be back out surfing and snowboarding.

Six months after Isaac’s accident, CAF made his dream of getting back in the water come true. He is determined to not let his disability hold him back and has tried lacrosse, basketball, and sled hockey. He is looking forward to getting back on the mountain this winter. CAF invited Isaac to their surf camp this summer where he competed and placed second in his division at the BRO-AM! He was STOKED!!

CAF has given him the hope and inspiration to get back into the sports he loves and to try new things. Getting involved with CAF has given him the opportunity to have an active and full life. His family is grateful to have found CAF so early after his accident.
