Biography:

Joseph is a third generation Marine. Growing up, it was his dream to follow in the footsteps of his father and grandfather. Upon graduating from high school, Joseph joined the Marine Corps and was soon after deployed in support of Operation Desert Storm.

In November 2004, while on his fourth combat deployment, Joseph was paralyzed by enemy forces who had infiltrated his base and pushed a 450 pound container from the room of a storage trailer onto him. After spending nearly four years recovering in the hospital, Joseph began becoming active again in archery and air rifle shooting. In March 2010, Joseph received an air rifle from CAF Operation Rebound.

He now competes regularly throughout the country with the goal of representing the U.S. in international competition.
