Bio: Marcela Clark started her life in Colombia where she was bitten by a poisonous snake which lead to over 30 surgeries over the years and to living her life on crutches. In 2015 she was adopted into her family In Minnesota. After 3 surgeries here she chose to have her leg amputated so she could do the things she was never able to experience.

Since her amputation in June of 2016 she has learned to swim and bicycle. She received her running leg in December of 2017. She has joined a track and field team and is getting ready for the Dairyland Games in Wisconsin. Marcela works out at the gym 5 days a week in the morning before school. She is looking forward to being involved in running and to see where it leads her.
