Mikhail Joshua Catuncan, better known as MJ, was born on November 7, 2009 in Christ Hospital Jersey City NJ.

MJ was diagnosed at an early stage with achondroplasia, most common form of dwarfism, and at an early age, MJ showed determination as he surpassed all obstacles that came his way. As MJ matures and grows, he continues to show great character and has started getting involved with different sports & activities. He continues to excel in academics at school.

He has been a member of the North Jersey Navigators since last 2015. MJ has competed in the TriState Wheelchair & Ambulatory Track & Field events and has qualified in numerous levels. MJ is also part of the Union’s United Taekwondo Academy and currently holds a red belt and continues to pursue his black belt.

MJ is now in 4th grade and continues to show excellent progress and the ability to adapt to his surroundings. MJ is very much liked by all his peers, classmates, and teachers. He is very independent and shows great respect for life as he enjoys growing up.
