Physical Challenge: Spina Bifida
Sport: Basketball, Track
Hometown: Windsor Mill, MD

Willow is a 10-year-old with spina bifida and until her family transferred to Maryland (father is active duty Navy) and found the Bennett Blazers in 2016 had no interaction with other children in wheelchairs or playing sports, it was a game changer for her.

Willow thrived on the excitement and focus it took to play sports and soon started to participate in the competitive side of wheelchair basketball with her teammates. Willow received the CAF grant in 2017 for a basketball wheelchair allowing her to play basketball with her peers on the team but also her friends and family at home further enabling her to master her skills.
