People with physical disabilities are relying on CAF programs now more than ever in their pursuit of health, wellness, and inclusion. We provide support for adaptive sports equipment, coaching, and competition costs and host inclusive camps and clinics in many different sports. Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, CAF quickly pivoted to continue supporting our community where they needed it most through new virtual programs as well.

Foundation grants, corporate giving, and sponsorship ensure challenged athletes of all ages have the resources they need to grow in their sport and community.

Program Impact Case Study

SWITCHFOOT band member high fiving young child on beach

Since 2016, the SWITCHFOOT BRO-AM Foundation has partnered with CAF to create thriving futures for youth adaptive surfers. We’ve introduced the stoke of surfing to 450+ kids at our camps and clinics – many have experienced this at our camp ending at the SWITCHFOOT BRO-AM Beach Fest!

2020 brought a critical need to support kids with physical disabilities. CAF and BRO-AM collaborated to provide custom surfboards and other adaptive resources, along with a life-changing grant presentation. Read the impact story from BRO-AM here.

Connecting Today

CAF is committed to fostering and cultivating a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion. We’re connecting with funders to provide support to underserved athletes with the greatest need.

Using sports as a vehicle, together we’re driving inclusion for people with physical disabilities – with a sharp focus on increasing opportunities for those of intersecting identities such as race, gender, income class, and mental health.
